This week’s digest

💰 Building A MILLION $$$ SEO Portfolio From Bali - James Oliver Interview

Building a million-dollar SEO portfolio is not only possible, it’s more accessible than ever IMO.

If I had the software — ESPECIALLY AI — and resources that are available to people starting today, I would probably be x2 as successful as I was.

Don’t let this opportunity pass you by.

AI is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to reach financial freedom. It’s the railroads, oil, and steel of our era

⚖️ Is Google finally erasing big brand advantages?

I know that A LOT of people’s niche sites — some that were spectacular — were unfairly decimated last year.

Some SEOs predict Google will revert the changes that It implemented last year.

This DOES NOT mean that you’ll be able to put up a crap niche site and expect to rank. The game HAS changed.

There are certain criteria your niche site will have to meet to be successful in 2024 and beyond.

(I’m working on a 2024 Niche Site Criteria Checklist as I speak…or type?...🤔 — stay tuned!)

😱 How I Grew Traffic 37.9% on Google, Without doing SEO

NO SEO?!?

Nah, he did some SEO — it’s just called programmatic SEO or pSEO these days.

You may have seen this term pop up a lot recently, and for good reason. It works.

Simply put, pSEO is the process of systematically generating tons of content pages that target keywords with slight variations.

Ex: 100 pages targeting “best pet groomer in <insert city here>”

Why is pSEO a thing? Because it makes it easy to create hundreds of pages that target relatively low-competition keywords.

Here’s a simple step-by-step from the video above (I recommend you watch the whole thing)

  1. Identify scalable keywords (ex: “best pet groomer in <insert city here>”) — Use Semrush or your favorite keyword research tool.

  2. Identify search intent — What is Google ranking for these keywords? What do users want to see on the pages you create?

  3. Collect the data — i.e., find the actual pet groomers using data providers like Google Dataset Search, Kaggle, or data.gov.

  4. Turn the data into content — Use a simple Google sheet + chatGPT prompts to build out the content. 1 row in Google Sheets per page/KW

  5. Upload to your site — Use a WordPress importer to upload the Google sheet to your site and automatically create the pages.

Struggling to start your niche site?

For most first-time niche site builders — myself included — finding a niche that is both profitable and attainable is the most crucial part of the journey.

This one decision can determine whether you make money or waste months of your life.

It can be daunting when you’re looking for something to work on but keep running into massive brands dominating the search results for every keyword you find.

It may seem like all the “good niches” are spoken for with no more room — especially for newcomers.

But they’re not.

I’ve created the Proven Niches Database and loaded it with industries where the pie is big enough for everyone.

Be sure to check it out before you decide which niche you want to tackle.
