📣 Niche Site Summit starts tomorrow

How would you like to get tips and advice from not just one but the top 23 publishers working today?

This is what Niche Site Summit is - a gathering of the best and highest-earning niche site owners, all of them sharing their hard-earned knowledge and wisdom.

The best thing?

It’s completely free.

(The recording costs a small fee though).

So get your pen and paper ready and sign up for the biggest niche site event of the year.

🏖️ Using AI to make over $100k with a travel blog

Nina has made multiple six figures with her travel blog… and did it in just a few short years.

Now she shares everything she learned - from AI content creation and keyword research to link building and EEAT.

Even if you’re not in the travel niche, you’re still going to learn a ton from this podcast.

💻 The right mentality to have with niche sites

A lot of people can get emotionally attached to their sites.

They spend so many hours working on it, that it becomes their baby.

What Charles argues (and I agree) is that you should approach the sites with a more rational perspective - ROI, risk vs reward, and generally thinking like an investor rather than a parent.

💰 Database of Proven Niches

No site spotlight this week; this week, we’re doing something different.

Recently I ran a survey asking you guys what you wanted to see, and the results are in:

Most subscribers would love a database with tested, proven niches.

No guesswork, no wondering if the niche is too competitive or too small - just a list of niches that are both profitable and relatively low competition.

So I’ve spent the last couple of weeks researching niches and building exactly that.

I launched it last week in some private communities and already got great feedback, sales, and reviews.

Now it’s time to officially launch it here.

🎉 Introducing: Proven Niches Database

It’s a Notion database with 30 proven, hand-picked niches.

But it’s not just a list - I’ve included a lot of additional information for every niche, including trends, top competitors, sample keywords, and more.

(You can check the sales page for exact details.)

I’ve spent a LOT of time and effort analyzing niches, eliminating the vast majority of them, and trimming this list down to only the best and most profitable niches.

Whether you’re a complete beginner or a seasoned pro, you’ll find something there for you.

And to celebrate the official launch, I’ve decided to offer a discount code.

The first 10 people who buy the product will receive 50% off - so instead of paying $49, you’ll only be paying $24.50.

The code is: NSD10.

The code is only valid for the first 10 purchases, so if you want to get this database (and lifetime updates that come with it) you better hurry up.

🚀 Featured Snippets

  • 📈 Optimizing for Google Discover: Seems more and more people are trying to get that Discover traffic. However, optimizing articles for Discover can be tricky for SEOs. If that’s you, follow this handy checklist and watch your traffic skyrocket.

  • 🔍 Ahrefs keyword research tactic: Struggling to find keyword and content ideas? No worries - just follow this 6-step process (you will need Ahrefs, though, that can get kinda expensive these days).

  • 📉 How many sites were impacted by HCU? While it’s hard to get specific numbers, Mike Futia came close to that as anybody.

  • 🪦 Are niche sites dead? Obviously, I’m based and I vote no. However, this Reddit thread has a ton of interesting discussions (and some tips on how to build sites going forward).

  • 🔗 How to build links in 2023: Even today, links are still one of the top (if not #1) ranking factors on Google. But a lot of people struggle with link building. This short video gives a great overview of the type of link-building campaigns you should run in 2023.

🛠️ Tool of the week

How can you not love Google Trends?

Not only can it give you broad niche trends and seasonality patterns, but it can also help you out with your keyword research.

Everyone and their grandma is using Ahrefs or Semrush for keyword research and competing for the same keywords. If you go to Google Trends, you can catch rising trends before they become popular and rank quickly for some valuable keywords.

That’s it for today - see you next week!
